Logan company Evolve's in Coronavirus battle

Updated: Apr 16, 2020

Evolve Group, a plastics manufacturer based in Crestmead, has signed a three-year deal to supply the Queensland health system with N95 face masks, critically needed during the current Coronavirus pandemic.

With thousands of the masks required, Evolve Group will be making 60,000 surgical masks each day, said Cameron Dick, State MP for Woodridge.

"We've also signed a contract to purchase these face masks for the next three years, to ensure our supply remains strong," Mr Dick said.

The longterm contract will also help secure future jobs for local residents Mr Dick said.

"The value of Queensland manufacturing cannot be underestimated, and I congratulate Ty, Joe, and the entire Evolve team for rising when we need them most."
